Boys' Paradise

With the change in venue for the Thanksgiving weekend, we have been left with a lot of time and no plans. Which is not necessarily a bad thing since 4 out of the 5 of us are sick. It does, however, make for bored little boys.

This is a job for Super Daddy!

Wednesday night he constructed a "tent" in the basement for the boys to sleep in with their sleeping bags. As you can probably tell, we haven't had any family meals all sitting together at the table since then. And we finally got the TV out of Ben's room (I was tired of him staying up late to watch Letterman) and put it in the basement as well. The boys love playing in their tent and watching irritating cartoons in their lair.
On Thanksgiving Day, we went to Oma and Opa's house where they had their trains set up. All the grandkids (well, the boys 5 and under) loved it. There was great weeping and wailing when we had to go home and leave the trains. Super Daddy stepped up and brought out our trains on Friday.
And there was great rejoicing in the land of boys.
